Cookie policy
Here's what cookies and local storage we use on Kigami, what they're for, and how to manage them. Our policy is minimal: we only use what's strictly necessary for the shop to work.

What cookies are
Cookies and local storage (localStorage) are small files a website saves on your device. They let us recognize you between visits and remember essential information like your cart contents or your signed-in session. We do not use any tracking or advertising cookies on this site.
Legal framework
This policy complies with article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the guidelines of the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD). Because we only use strictly necessary technical cookies, we don't ask for prior consent — but we are required to inform you about their use.
What we use on Kigami
The table below lists every cookie and local-storage entry this site uses.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Origin |
|---|---|---|---|---|
kigami_customer_session | Cookie | Keeps your customer session signed in and gives you access to your orders, profile and shipping address. | 30 days | First-party |
kigami_admin_session | Cookie | Admin panel session. Only present for store managers. | 8 hours | First-party |
kigami_cart_v1 | localStorage | Saves the products you add to your cart so they're still there if you reload or come back later. | Until you clear it | First-party |
kigami_wishlist_v1 | localStorage | Saves the list of products you've marked with the heart. | Until you clear it | First-party |
kigami_cookie_notice_v1 | localStorage | Remembers that you've already seen the cookie notice so we don't show it on every visit. | Until you clear it | First-party |
__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid, mStripe Payments Europe Ltd. | Cookie | Stripe cookies required during checkout to process transactions and prevent fraud. | Session + 1 year | Third-party |
Third-party cookies
When you complete an order, we load the Stripe payment processor, which sets its own cookies needed to process the transaction securely and prevent fraud. Stripe acts as the data controller for that data.
How to withdraw consent
Even though we don't require consent for strictly necessary cookies, you can delete or disable them anytime from your browser settings:
- Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari — Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy (for example, by adding new tools that require cookies), we'll update the date at the top of the document and, for substantial changes, we'll show a new notice on the site.
